Narrative
Time and age affect everything, except for the soul. If people over 40 are asked, most of them answer that, inside, they feel the same as when they were 20, and it’s almost shocking to say their age out loud.
Usually, with women, time and age significantly decrease their opportunities. It is interesting to see that, when a woman’s fertile period finishes, it seems like her overall value expires and they lose the right to continue with their personal development: employment, and sentimental, social, sexual, personal relationships… From their 50s (or even before then… They’re no longer useful.
Phenomena like ageism, sexism, worship of youth, beauty and female sociocultural roles and stereotypes make them hit a glass ceiling, externally imposed, which impacts their self-assessment and blocks the complete fulfillment for middle-aged women and the choice of their dreams.
Can someone start afresh after their 50s?
Can dreams outweigh time?
