Sarah K. Ryan

Sarah K. Ryan is an oil painter from Ireland. Her work focuses on architecture and landscapes.
With this work, focusing on the harbour and lighthouse of Chania, she has shifted to already prepared colours using everyday items: sweet wrappers, plastic bags, magazines, sand, and any other found items from everyday life.
Biography
Sarah K. Ryan is an oil painter from Skerries, Ireland. She has a Diploma in Classical Animation and an Honours Degree in Visual Art Practise. She has held 3 solo exhibitions. In 2021 she had a painting show with the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts (RHA) Dublin. She has exhibited in many group shows, including NCH IMMA Dublin, MART Dublin, Back Loft Dublin. Sarah's work takes inspiration from her surroundings, with a particular interest in architecture. She has supported many charities with donations of her work, most recently, the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation Incognito25. An online art Auction. She has completed many commissions for clients, and her work is held in private collections in the UK, America, Canada and further afield.
