Narrative
My work is a collage of photographs I have taken from the streets and the harbour of Chania. Using the harbour as my background I have added and mixed different photos into one big diverse scene with sometimes absurd elements.
Biography
Valentina Kiagia studied Theatre in Bochum, Germany, and then studied Theatre-Cinema-Media at the University of Vienna. She has attended dozens of acting and film directing seminars. She has filmed three short documentaries and directed two plays that were performed in Rethymno and Heraklion. She has been involved in street photography for years, with the aim of creating her own photographic exhibition in the future. She conducts film workshops for children and adults and is currently preparing her first short film.
